I’m a huge fan of skinny jeans, but I recently purchased the most amazing high waisted, straight leg jeans from Zara. They are flattering, affordable and come in multiple washes. I bought the pair below in light blue, and I also bought a pair of black. They’re my new favourite pants!
I just bought my second PackitDown Jacket from Lululemon, and it’s a favourite that I use from Spring to Fall. It’s a great lightweight jacket to throw on when you’re running errands. It’s warmer than you would think despite being thin. I originally bought the black version and recently bought the black/dark grey camo print.
Combat boots are making a comeback, and they are available in a range of styles, from casual hiking to edgy. Below is a pair I have my eyes on for this Fall. This specific pair is from All Saints, but you can buy combat boots pretty much anywhere these days.
Warm, cozy sweaters are a staple in my closet. This year colour-blocked sweaters are incredibly popular. I came across this sweater while surfing the Internet, and I had never heard of this company Celticandco. Their clothing is absolutely gorgeous. Not cheap, but the quality looks outstanding.
You can find me wearing hats all year round. In the summer I wear baseball hats and sunhats. In the fall, I wear beanies. I love the fit and quality of Herschel Supply, so we have a few of these hats in our house.
Jean jackets never go out of style, and they are a great staple to keep in your closet. Recently I added to my jean jacket collection by purchasing a white one which I wear over summer dresses or other light outfits. I like the simplicity and cut of this Wrangler jacket. I also like the fact that my daughter has jean jackets that I can wear now too. She wears oversized jackets, which I will wear over leggings or something fitted. Likewise, I will wear my fitted blue denim jack with baggy clothing like sweatpants.
A fall closet update wouldn’t be complete without a good pair of track pants. I am a Canadian girl and therefore like to promote Canadian companies such as Roots. These are the Original sweatpant that has been around as long as I can remember.
I had never heard the word “shacket” before this year. Shackets are a cross between a shirt and a jacket. They are often rugged-looking, warm, plaid and casual. The picture below is from H&M, and I think it would be a good staple for this year while we’re all trying to be comfortable but stylish.
Camel is a hot colour this season. This beautiful scarf is from Aritzia, and you will likely see it on my Christmas Wish List, which will be coming out soon.
